Brownies













RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

Chocolate of your choice - 100 grams
Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
Coffee powder - 1/2 tablespoon (optional)
Granulated white sugar - 1 cup
Brown sugar - 1/4 cup
vanilla extract -1 teaspoon
Eggs -3 no.s (or) vegetable oil- 3/4 cup
All purpose flour - 1 cup
Milk - 3/4 cup
Toppings according to preference

✸ Break down the chocolate into smaller pieces and add them to the milk. Add 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the mix and  microwave them till the chocolate melts into the milk. You can also melt it over the stove
✸ In another bowl mix the eggs, both the sugars,coffee powder,remaining cocoa powder, vanilla extract and whisk it for atleast a solid 10 minutes so the batter is well aerated. If you don't have brown sugar you can just replace it with the equivalent white sugar no big deal.
✸ Now if you wan't your brownie to be really fudgy you can skip this step. But if you want it to have a slightly cake like texture you can add a pinch of baking soda to the mix.
✸ Next pour in the chocolate and milk mixture into the batter.
✸ Then sift the flour into the batter and fold it in. Don't mix too much. A small amount of whisking will do.
✸ Grease your pan with butter and slightly sprinkle some flour over it. Then pour in the batter and bang the pan on the counter a few times to get rid of air bubbles. You can add toppings like cashews ,walnuts or choco chips according to your preference.
✸ Preheat the stove for about 10 minutes and then lower the pan into the stove
✸ Your brownies should be ready in about 30 to 40 mins.
✸ Pair it with your favourite toppings and you're good to go.
